Ha. Forced myself to sign up for a weight training class. THIS should help. Already seeing improvement in what I can do, even if it’s not physically visible yet.

Bought some Perfect Push Ups. We’ll see if these help. I keep meaning to use them, but I’m so worn out by the time I get home from work. :\

Bought some ankle/wrist weights today and intend on wearing them around as much as I can. I’ve been meaning to get these forever, so here’s to hoping that things can work out well for me. :)
Well, it’s my first year on the swim team. Maybe being on the swim team will do this for me :]
dymecoar is more than meets the eye.
So I’m a little lazy to go to the gym all the time. I don’t make it everyday or every other day, so on those days I try to work on things like neck muscles. I’m pretty skinny and have a long neck, making it important to exercise that part of my body.
So far the neck exercises have been pretty easy and effective. I’ll lay on the ground in situp position, then lean the head-up with the support of the neck and do a sort of mini-pushup with just the neck. I’m getting to where I can do about 100 or more at a time. Sometimes I will turn the neck to one side while it’s coming up to work the left or right side exclusively.
I heartily suggest these simple home exercises to anyone else with a thin neck.

Not to mention the fact that I have absolutely no idea what level my upper body strength is currently at, so I’m going to have to find that out too. I do a lot of upper body related dancing, so I hope that’ll help me out some. I’m bad at doing normal exercises.
But it’s really sad that I can’ do a lot of push ups… so yeah, I’m gonna do 3 sets of 10 every night… then work my way up… :)
Right now, I can barely do 10 pushups without collapsing….sooo i’m going to try 3 sets of 10 every night until that gets more comfortable, then i’ll do 3 sets of 15 and so on….
3/10
but I want strong arms too. I’m aiming for 6 pull-ups in a row. Right now I can BARELY do 2…any exercises besides push-ups that I can do??
