Will check out a church in Colonial Heights and Hopewell once we move. There is also a big church in Petersburg. I am looking for a large congregation with lots of activities for middle aged adults w/families. Also want a nursery to watch the kids while we are in church.

my entire life. I’ve only ever missed a handful of Sundays, and most of those were in the summer when me and the fam were away on vacation.

I went to church this morning. I loved it. I also attended simple worship tonight at 8. There weren’t too many people there, but it was still fun! :)
It felt great to be back.

Lynn is busy learning what it means to be an urban homesteader!
I checked out a new Church this weekend. It’s unaffiliated and doesn’t have the standards my chosen faith does…but their beliefs are the same. I’ll give this one some time and see how it goes, but I’m going to make it a point to visit other Churches in the area occasionally to see if one of them is closer to what I’m looking for.

I moved away from my regular Church, and the one near my new home has no one within 20 years of my age. I’m not comfortable there so my attendance has been sporadic. And I hate that. I’m going to start checking out other Churches and find someplace I belong again.

I need to find a church that has a cry room, children’s mass, etc where I can attend mass w/my son and still hear the mass. I also would like to find a church that has more adults in the 30-40 age range and parents. I’d prefer a Catholic church but I might consider another Christian church if I’m comfortable enough to attend weekly!
