decide if participation in NaNoWriMo 2006 is feasible

I don’t know if I want to wait until November to start on this wonderful plot. I’m itching to being writing NOW.

Before I make any hasty decisions, I will finish some outlines and get going with my notes. When all that is done, I will see where I’m at, time-wise.

It’s going to be very difficult NOT to do NaNoWriMo 2006 all of the sudden. While in the shower this evening, a perfect plot just fell into my head, seemingly from nowhere.

I wont give away the details just yet, but I will say that I am following advice and writing what I know. What I know VERY VERY well. Or should I say, WHO I know very very well.

Come November I will be…

1. Working about 30 hours per week, on average. A little less than half of this will take place during the weekends.

2. Taking three classes, which will take up three afternoons/early evenings a week. One of these classes is a short story writing class which is online and could either help or hinder my progress.

3. Still be reading books, although I’d probably slow down to one every two weeks or so during this time. I absolutely cannot go without reading. I’d go insane.
