hello
How to go to Arizona
How I did it: April 2008: Part of my 25th Birthday Extravaganza!
Drove in from Bryce Canyon (UT) on Sunday night and had 5 people stay in a hotel room in Page.
Monday we went to Lower Antelope canyon, Glen Dam, and Lake Powell. Sadly we had to depart back to NV for our return flights later that afternoon.

There is something for me there. I really would like to visit sooner than latter. Its just this whole grown up thing I have going on —-you know working, kids, husband, bills. I love all these things really but it makes it very hard to pick up and take off. There always seems to be a more important, less expensive, trip or bill or remodel for the house. I am the only one in my family that really wants to see Arizona and I am almost positive it is a trip I need to take on my own. It will happen when its supposed to.
Phoenix, Scottsdale, Montezuma Castle, Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon…and still so much I didn’t see! Even though I left North Carolina without much of an agenda, we found plenty to do and see. Still, I felt that we had just scratched the surface. This one is worth doing more than once. Maybe next time I’ll just go to the Sedona area and hang out there for awhile…
Well, maybe I’m not exactly packed yet. I DO have plane tickets in hand and reservations made. Leaving this Thursday!
.. when I was there as 9yrs old with my family. I loved everything there. The colours of Grand Canyon while watching sunset were stunning. I would love to go back there once again in my life.
I want to see it again because I didn’t speak english at all when I was 9 and didn’t understand a lot of things there. I don’t remember some trips because everything was so confusing to me.
Arizona, see you soon!!
Maybe it’s because I’ve lived in the prairies for 23 years. But maybe it’s because there were palm trees in the middle of streets. Maybe it was that nearly-unbearable heat that was still hotter at night than during the hottest of days where I’m from.
All in all, it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for me.
It was simply beautiful.
