I thought…heck, I can knock this out and so I went to a very strange yoga fitness class. Still had a good time and it is totally different for me. Maybe I can work some kinks out-so I’ve been to class every day this week, since I still can’t really run w/o pain.

I tried a yoga class at the gym. Yoga is always embarassing for me because I can’t balance to save my life. This class seemed to work for me. It was more about stretching and there was only one pose that I couldn’t do because I couldn’t balance. I think when my abdominal muscles get stronger, I will be able to do that one too.
When I first sat down, I couldn’t sit cross-legged because of some pain in my hip flexor. I had to sit with one leg bent and one leg stretched in front, but by the end of the class, my hip was stretched out and I could sit cross legged without any problem.
I’m going to keep going. I think this is something i need.

I usually run and swim and lift and do yoga on my own. I don’t really like classes. But, I think I should try something different and should just take one class to see how it goes. I’m thinking of Pilates since I’ve never done that.
