Donate my old clothes

Today I really sifted through all the crap in my bedroom and found more necessaries laying about. I gotta find more boxes! Haha. I have a deadline, too: October 1st.

It’s going to happen sooner than that, though, because with all this stuff in my room waiting to leave my room’s looking crappy. The vision of my room being rid of these things is too vivid to postpone this any later.

This weekend I rallied the procrastinatory troops, got the drive to sift through the looming Macy’s bag sitting in the corner of my bedroom. It’s been there for months.

MONTHS.

And now I’ve gone through it, re-folded everything, and added a few more things to it. I told my folks if they had anything they wanted to add to my pile of stuff they’d better get it out and ready for me to take down to the local dropzone. Gettin’ it done.

Well I have a giant bag of things in my room right now just dying to be taken in. It’s just a matter of combing through them once more, adding a few more things, and mustering the drive to go to the Goodwill or wherever and dropping it off. Hahah. I’ll be doing this sometime this month I hope. I need the space!

Consisted of my old clothes – all still good. I’ve outgrown them, both size and fashion-wise. :p

Also included a few of my son’s old clothes. Jeans he no longer fit. Thought I’d give it to my nephews but I figured their mother (my sister) can afford to buy them new ones. ;)

The thing blocking me on this is that I have so much stuff and I want to make an inventory to track the tax value, so I have to sift through everything, identify it, and put it in bags :(

I just brought two huge trash bags full of old clothes, a big box full of stuffed animals, a box of shoes, and FOUR boxes of childrens books to the goodwill. :]

They’re bagged and ready to go. My dad’s taking them to the clothing drive at his school. :)
