climb helvellyn

I climbed most of the way up this about 7 years ago but never made it to the summit. I left rather late and had to turn back as it was I did the last bit of the walk in the dark. Since then its been a goal of mine to go back and hopefully make it to the summit. I’m not as fit as I was though so some of my other goals will have to get done first.

If you’re really lucky you get a view when you get up there. But it’s worth it for the exercise in any case.

This is not on my list of county tops to visit… but I’d like to make it up there one day. I’d love to do striding edge if my fear of heights is under control by then.
