It’s the only place I’ve ever TRULY dreamed of visiting. Someday, I will go and it will be magical!
How I did it: Study abroad. Really, I hate this whole how'd you do it shit... because it is always telling me that I don't write enough. I studied abroad, that's really all I can say. I stayed in Florence and it was awesome. I didn't have to plan a single thing, I just went along with the group. Read how I did it…
VISCERALGOREWHORE feels renewed.
How I did it: I participate in school band and they take trips to perform, and this year we went to Italy! We went to Venice, Florence, Siena, Pompeii, and Rome. Italy is a beautiful country with beautiful people. I couldn't help but appreciate how much care people took in clothes there, when I got back I realized how sloppy Canadians can be haha. How I did it: Got a passportGot TicketsGot on a PlaneKept an open mindHad my life altered foreverVisited Milan, Torino, Como, and Parma in a week. So amazing. So darn awesome. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My university had a summer school program there, so I lived in Florence for 5 weeks and traveled around from there on the weekends. I mostly took the train and walked because Italy has excellent public transportation. I highly recommend getting someone to tell you a bit about the history of the city you're visiting. A guide would be best because reading about it in a travel book is just not the same as hearing a native p… Read how I did it…

How I did it: When I was 16, my high school chorus went on a trip to Italy. It was pretty easy for me (planning-wise) because we had a travel agent who planned the entire thing for us.We sang for the Pope at the Vatican, went on gondolas in Venice, entertained the mayor of Florence, took pictures at the Colesseum in Rome, touched the turquoise water of the Blue Grotto... We had all the major tourist experiences and some really unique o… Read how I did it…

I am 1/4 Italian, and even though it is not much, I am connected deeper with the Italian part of my heritage more than anything else. My mother and I are both in love with the culture of Italy and it is one of our dreams to visit the country together some day. Sadly, we have never had the money to do this, and we don’t know who would care for our many pets even if we did. :(
I’m Italian, and I’ve been attempting to get closer to my culture, so it only seems reasonable to visit. :D
tanbaker crashing....but it feels so damn good
I have decided to learn some Italian for my trip. Had my first lesson today and I’m pretty excited about it. It’s not easy, but I’m always up for a challenge. Anything that gets my mind going is a plus.
VoidCog is finding beauty in dissonance.
The Wiff and I are going to Italy for two weeks after I return from the desert! Should be a blast. After that, I think we’re going to Australia or Japan.
Woo travel!

i’m hoping i’ll be able to visit italy and greece next summer. i’d love to have my bro come with me for some protection. oh, and he’s a pretty cool guy. i’m really hoping it actually happens and then i can cross off two things on my bucket list!! :)
索耶 is pretending not to be here
I tagged along with my dad when he went on a business trip for 5 days. I wandered around a small town and took a series of trains to Milan. Food and people there are great!
This is something I have always wanted to do. Sort of “getting back to the home country.” I want to learn to speak Italian as well and will be putting that in front of my goal to go there so that trip is even better.
