Lose my fear of spiders

I am seriously thiking of doing this. There’s nothing logical about this fear that will prevent me from entering my bedroom if a spider is in there until someone comes over to kill it. One night, a spider (the chunky scary black kind) was in my closet sitting on a shirt next to one I wanted to wear and I had to call my friend and say I was not coming out unless she came over and killed this thing because I couldn’t go in there. I couldn’t even bring myself to swat it with a broom for fear that it would drop and run to some unseen place. CA-RA-ZY!! I think yes to hypnosis.
