It finally snowed, so today, while volunteering at the nature center, instead of doing real work (aka evil buckthorn!), we broke the trails. I got to wear snow shoes (slightly too big), so I guess I’m glad that I have now tried snowshoeing. A bit more of a workout than just walking in boots. Today was definitely the best walk I have taken in a while-the snow is just AMAZING!!

so, now that it’s cold, this goal has turned into do turbojam (not as fun as i’ve been told, but not bad either) at least every other day. it’s so much easier to exercise at home-at school i just don’t get around to it. okay, actually, i hate going to the gym alone and my friends either can’t go at the same time or say they will but don’t. i could still go for walks, which i love, but it’s not the same as getting intense exercise. and maybe i’ll get in some volunteering outside over break, which sometimes counts as physical labor.
So, it would be really helpful if I had a bike at school….I need to go find a cheap one soon. But I did take a walk once…maybe I’ll start taking long walks in the meantime.
I haven’t really kept track this past week-I think I only rode a couple times. So much to do! I need to get a cheap bike now that I’m back at school-I really hope that I keep this up now and that I can find a good place to go for rides—I have an idea…if I get a bike tomorrow, I can check it out soon and make a habit of it! I think this will be great for de-stressing and getting away from everything during the school year.
Last week, I think I rode my bike only three times, this past week: 0! I was preoccupied with something, but that’s really no excuse. The only explanation is laziness. When I rode my bike today, after over a week, I actually felt out of shape. And now it’s broken, and I won’t have it back until Mon. evening. Oh well…tomorrow I definitely have plans to go for a very long walk. Miles…and miles.
Five times this week! Though, about 20-30 minutes rather than 45-60 min. Oh well. I find that it’s a lot more fun to ride in the evening when it cools down and I feel more advensturesome. I should start out earlier so I can go longer before it gets too dark—maybe then I will meet my time goal.
This past week I rode my bike three times…just need to squeeze in one more day this week!
I ride my bike at least once, usually 2 times, per week. I would really like to get more execise. I just feel lazy after comming home from work and then eating dinner, but I will make a great effort to get out there on my bike, or when in a less energetic mood, a relaxing walk. Prefereably, bike rides/walks should last 45 min to an hour.
