I have given toning up so much thought….. but the thought of exercise is just too awful!!! I really must do something about it. I am not fat, I just want to tone up, so as my goal is not too hard to achieve it’s even more annoying that I can’t motivate myself to do it!!

Note to self: Stop being so LAZY!!!!!



Let it begin, summer project 6 months ago

I’ve started walking daily as a way of getting away from my thesis. The weather has just been so gorgeous, I had to go outside.

I’m really going to try to commit to this goal this summer. I bought a set of eight pound free weights yesterday which is good. I’m hoping that since I spent money on this now, I’ll be more likely to follow through on it.



Day three- Been gym 6 months ago

Just been to the gym :) i did …
15 mins on the cross trainer
15 mins on the bike
some leg weights
5 mins on cross trainer to finish
And tomorrow im going to some aqua fit thing, not really sure what it is but going to give it a go, then Friday im going to a cardio work out group think, that should be a laugh, So going good i guess.



Day 2- could have gone better 6 months ago

just a quickie, Not done much to be impressed about, not done any working out today, so going to fix that by getting up some aerobic videos on YouTube later, not eaten very well either :/ Had mostly pancakes and chocolate as i’ve been with my boyfriend, Im trying to find someone to go gym with tomorrow but its not working, everyone seems to be busy, so might have to buck up the courage to go on a run by myself, maybe an early morning one, that way no one will be out that i will see, dont know if i’ve the guts to do that though :/ I will just keep hunting for a gym buddy! x



Day one- not going good already 7 months ago

And the reason for it not going good is i just glanced at the calories in an Easter egg and only half of one is 1320 calories! and 735 in a cream egg! and i still have 4 cream eggs and 2 big Easter eggs to go, i cant wait till all the chocolate has been eater, preferably not by me so there wont be the temptation to eat it!
But for me this goal is about toning up and eating healthy and exercising more rather than loosing weight, although im trying to loose about 10 pounds as well. My reason for doing this is i am going Turkey with my boyfreind in August and don’t want to be wobbling all over the place when i go away! x

So I’ve been working on this one for a long time.
Sometimes I’ll get on track with it and then I’ll get sidetracked or I’ll get sick or I’ll get on my period and feel too anemic, but I’m going to try really hard this time to maintain it.
I’m to the point where it’s not really about losing the pounds, but more about trimming down and toning up while being healthy…
My goal is to be at the rate of health I want to be at while maintaining by April first of this year (2009)! Wish me luck :)

I’ve been overweight since college started and now in my junior year I have decided that enough is enough and I’m going to shape up.
I’ve stopped eating red meat in the dining halls completely (which is easy, since the food isn’t appetizing anyway) and I’m trying to hit the gym as often as I can.

I run for about 10 minutes (and I’m slowly building my non existent stamina) and then do stretches. I hope I stick to it and get my fit body back!

My friend said his parents saw me and thought I looked ‘Stocky and fragile’, and yes, I am stocky, but fragile is not something I want to be! I think it’s okay that I’m stocky; it means I have more to work with and don’t need to spend time putting on weight in order to be able to gain muscles. So yes, I am going to join a gym asap and tone up.
