"should read" and "want to read"  — 2 months ago

I’m trying to balance my list and let myself read more fun books mixed in with the [[classic books]], the books you’re Supposed to read. I have to read Three Cups of Tea for summer reading, I just read Eats, Shoots and Leaves, and I’m trying to read Great Expectations.

This isn’t working…I’m going to give this up for now and just read the books when I get to them, when I can truly appreciate and ejoy them, instead of feeling like it’s a chore that has to be endured.

I'm not giving up, but...  — 1 year ago

This list is just too darn long. So I’m getting rid of some of the books on the list early. Just a couple, the ones that I really didn’t especially want to read, anyway. Also I rewrote my list so that I am reading two books at the same time, one fiction and one nonfiction.

This is so hard! My list keeps growing and  — 1 year ago

I don’t feel like reading a lot of this stuff, but I feel like I need to just because I spent good money on the books. I feel like I am never going to get to the bottom of this pile of books! GRRR!

One down...  — 1 year ago
