The island of Sao Miguel is especially beautiful, and full of natural wonder. There are plenty of people who speak english, so do it if you have the chance.

Portugal is an amazing country. I’ve been twice and absolutely loved it. The people are super nice, the countryside is beautiful, and the food’s great. We also found Lisbon to be less expensive than other large European cities.
Not what I expected but interesting anyway

My first impression of Portugal was that it was a dirty, badly maintained country full of poor and rude people. I was very disappointed because I had seen something totally different on TV. I still found it very interesting and I would say it was definately worth going there.

I was in Lisbon, Portugal for a couple of days. It was really fun and the city was beautiful. I did feel a little out of place though becuse I was practically the only blonde there. oh well. haha.
