Mick Jagger ia an ageing ex-public schoolboy. And he isn’t exactly deep. There, now you can get on with something else.

I’m reading his biography, and he just seems to be so fake. I don’t mean fake in the way he presents himself. What I mean is he seems non-existent, a fictional character, and his life (from what I read) just seems to me to be completely surreal compared to any normal human being. But I guess it has to be bigger than normal for a celebrity of his status. So meeting him, seeing him on stage, or being in somewhat the same vicinity would be like meeting Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. It would be personification, finally….because I’m just not believing that he’s actually a living, breathing person.
