But going to the Mayan ruins and swimming with dolphins, so maybe that will help. I guess I have to see a lot of the world before I can find the most peaceful spot.

is a state of mind. That being said, there is an area of the Big Island Hawaii where there are hardly any residents, police, traffic, pollution, overbuilding, etc. etc. right by the ocean. My favorite area is Hawaiian Paradise Park. You can still buy lots there for $20,000. That’s crazy!

Personally, it would be the youth center which I’ve been frequenting since I was a college student (Ive been working for 4 years now). It might not have stunning zen gardens, or vast open spaces, or cool animals… but many of the radical things that have happened to me are rooted there.

When the weather is bad its very bad…but thats like most places however on a good day it is the most amazing … most peaceful place ever. I remember watching a snow petrel flying about in this icy wilderness and it was so incredibly peaceful, a white meditation. Also the majestic beauty of an ice berg could be used to define peaceful.
