Create income streams

I have now moved countrys due to my partners work. We are in a small town and due to the down turn there is Sweet FA around really. Even cleaning jobs are far and few between. Im doing seasonal work but thats going to wined up this week, however I am selling Items on line and all is going well. Im not making millions but its a start. I have made some jewlary as well but havent got around to listing it yet. At least I set out to what I was going to do in a round about way. And oh my Credit card is now paid of. Im always thinking about this one.
I was lucky to get a few more hours over Christmas.
I would really like to make Gemstone pendants. However this means buying a tumbler.
But I will have to get rid of my Credit Card dept first. So ill just keep ploding on.
I was also pleased to find out one of my rentals is paying its self. Another words the rent is covering the morgage. Hopefully in 10 years time the morgage will be gone and so thats a good little Stream to have. 3 years ago

I have Picked up more hours at my main job. Im so happy and my Bosses are pleased with me to. Im just really greatful to have a job at the moment. As i know some are finding it hard wit the global Stuff happening. 3 years ago

Looking Back at my last entry for this goal, things have changed so much, the Sales Rep Job turned out to be a Lemon.
However Im Very happy as I got my Old Job Back with more hours. So Im happy with that. I have also Picked up a Job every now and again Stock taking. Not Much But its Something.
I have not ruled out the option of Making Jewlary. We will see how we go. What ever the Money Streams will be I will have to enjoy doing or elso what the Point. 3 years ago

I have had a job offer as a Sales rep, witch I have excepted.
I KNOW IM GOING to enjoy it and do well.
I also have the opertinity to perhaps creation jewlary or maybe selling product on line. Im thinking i will do something i know alot about and love. And see if anyone else is selling this product on ebay. Witch they are not. I also have another idea of selling something else on ebay. But this would mean i would have to out lay some dosh to buy from the surplyer. I have done it before very well in a differant enviroment so ill have to think about it. 3 years ago

I’ve started selling books on Amazon. It’s great because I don’t really have to do any work. Amazon does charge for the service, but only when you actually sell something. It’s better than eBay. And you can sell a fairly large selection of things. Books, CD’s, DVD’s, games, etc.

I’ve been very pleased with the payment process and pleasantly surprised with the amount I’ve sold so far. All in all, I think it’s a great way for me to get rid of books. It doesn’t involve a large cost to me and it’s not just giving them away to the library or the used bookstore. (I get more in cash from Amazon than I EVER do from the used bookstore. I felt vaguely guilty for not supporting my local shop, but honestly, they give crap credit.) 4 years ago

I highly recommend it. I’ve started tiny and in several small directions so as not to be overwhelming nor overly invested in any of them. Should one fail, no worries, move on to the next or devote more to what is showing promise.

Well, I’ve signed up for Prosper. Basically, you buy debt from them (as little as 50 initially) and they collect the debt and pass on the APR you were willing to accept. It’s a little like a tax lien, but you don’t have to spend a large amount to get started.

When i posted this I resolved to work out what the streams might be. I figured it all related to my portfolio career goal but on reflection I think there might be more to it.

So, what do I have?
1. Sell photos, not sold any yet but slowly putting my portfolio togther and will develop the final 25 films in January. Then need to develop the website and get a sales mechanism on it.
2. Life Coaching, well, coming to the end of my training and qualification. Already two of my “practice” clients are looking at signing up for more and agreeing to pay. ALso one of them wants to recommend me to her friends who have all comented on the change in her. Im optimisitc that I can slowly make a go of this.

So that’s two streams already, need to develop more passive streams though. Time to have a think! 6 years ago

One income stream that I would like to develop is the cutting of raw gem stones. There is a lapidary school that would take about 13 months to attend. This could take place in about 3-4 years at my current projectons. I am cataloging this idea here for future reference. 6 years ago

I want cash flows that are independant of each other and based in different sectors of the economy. I want this to insulate myself from an upheaval in any one stream being catastrophic to me.

I’m looking at a condo that’s rather reasonably priced in my area. The thing is, I don’t think I’ll have the cash-flow available to close on it unless I rent it before I even own it! grrrrr this is so frustrating. I think it would be perfect. And I could likely rent it for slightly more than the mortgage. I just need to find a creative way to finance it. shakes head6 years ago

Operating a 5 employee small business. Investing in commercial property and earning substantial rental income. Open to discuss ways of doing business, to share experiences. His step brother is well established as a fuel and fertilizer distributor and also is well versed in business.

I added Amazon links to fifteen of my blog entries. Oy. I forgot how time-consuming it can be when you don’t do it in the beginning. Now, I’ve got nearly forty book reviews, plus CD and movie reviews to add links to. For anyone who’s interested in seeing the reviews:

1. Have at least 2 rental properties (with a managment company).

2. Have a group of e-books that sell without me having to do a whole heck of a lot (just need to find the right topic).

3. Get all my things listed onto eBay.

4. Get articles published and into reprints.

5. Build up my amazon referals business. (like maybe get at least one click-through?)

6. Find a way to increase my business so that I don’t have to work two jobs (See my previous goal.)

7. Get wholesale customers for our cookies so we don’t have to do the front end selling.

8. Sell my artwork. Maybe get into lithos or something like that.

9. Invest in tax liens.

10. Invest in something that won’t require a lot of supervision.

11. License out my DREAM system.

12. Sell tarot readings on-line. (Only partly joking on this one…)

I’ve tried to leverage my various web development projects over the years to also become small sources of income… It has worked to a small degree. I hope to enlarge my success. I have created three income streams this way, and I hope to maintain and increase those, then just sit back and watch the money roll in. 6 years ago
