Establish some credit

I don’t do a good job at documenting when I use my credit card (which is hardly ever) and when I begin to start making my payments. Ughhh…nonetheless, I do have some credit now, so I’ve completed this goal. Next goal….make consistent payments on credit card.

I spent about $50 on essentials (I promise, I needed everything I purchased) at Target. And I still manage to pay 3x what I’m supposed to on my credit card bills. So I’m straight! Yay! I’ve only made 2 transactions since I’ve had this credit card.

So, it’s been about a month since I’ve had my credit card. I’ve only purchased one thingsince I’ve had it—-my T-Mobile sidekick phone. And when I get the bill, I plan on paying it off. I checked my credit score the other day and it is “FAIR”. Not bad for a college student with loans. So yeah, I’ve vowed to only use that credit card once a month on things I need. Essentials.

Not stuff like gas, groceries or mini-shopping sprees. Stuff like…..a plane ticket, or….shoot, I don’t know. Stuff that I REALLY can’t affford @ the moment.

So seeeee…..I’m establishing credit! Yay for me!
