How to meet Dir en Grey

 "I hugged Die and Kaoru but it was hella freaking awkward. Die looks exactly like he does in pictures. Hella disappointed we weren't allowed to take pictures & that Toshiya wasn't there."
How I did it: by buying a CD at their Nov 2008 US tour, on Nov 30. Then I waited in line, after the concert was finished, and wala! It was cool cuz they made us wait until the person before us was finished talking to them, like one person would spend time with them alone, while the rest of the people waited for, say 5 seconds (which is actually pretty long..) and then the next person from line came up.
Lessons & tips: I’ve already met Die and Kaoru, but I want Toshiya, or at least Shinya… Tip: Don't be disappointed with who you get to meet! cuz they only bring out 2 members, sometimes/rarely 1.

Well, I was reading through other people’s entries about their experiences of meeting the members of Dir en grey. When I realized that if they consider shaking hands with them actually meeting them, then I’ve met them too. nods
At the Family Values Tour 2006 in Sacramento, I had the opportunity to shake hands with Die and Shinya. And obviously…right after I called my BFF and screamed into the phone…and people kept staring at me. Haha. But anyways. Oh, and that was the first time that I saw Die’s tattoo on his hand. nods I want to get a tattoo like that…just because it looks uber-cool.
During the Inward Scream Tour…the concert in SF at the Fillmore. I shook hands with Die [again] and Toshiya. Cna you random fangirl scream of doom. LMAO. Kyo looked at me…Kaoru smiled at me and through one of his picks at me, but I missed it[I have horrible catching skills] and well…Shinya just waved. Haha. Oh. I was in the moshpit obviously. And got crushed. And was sore for the next couple weeks. But it was so worth it.
Die also gave me his dog-tag. Which is obviously now my most prized possession and is with me 24/7. So yea. Go me.
I think it’s totally worth your money to go to a Dir en grey concert. The five of them are amazingly talented and their concerts are always awesome. Plus their music rocks. And they’re hot. nods
For those who want to meet Dir en grey. GO FOR IT~ It’s totally worth it.

Okay. So by me saying that I want to Meet Dir en grey. I mean actually MEET them…you know like “Hi my name is BLAH…” And you know…the whole thing. So that they’d actually remember me. Instead of just shaking my hand, along with thousands of other crazy fans. nods
Trust me, I’ve already shaken hands with them. And I have a little souveneir[sp?] from Die…But I just really want to meet them, you know? Oh…and it’s true what they say…about Kyo. When he looks at you right in the eyes…everything else just seems to stop. Haha. <—-that was totally gay. But whatever.

I’d love to meet Shinya and Totchi… I wanna ask Shinya where he gets his shoes, lol. Oh, and I’d love to stand next to Kyo and get my picture taken, because he’s 4cms shorter than me. :D Finally! Someone shorter than I am! Huzah!
Toshiya is just hotness; one of the few men that made me reconsider my sexuality, lol, although Shinya messed it up even more. o_O ((“Male? Female? Ah, whatever, they’re hot!”))

I would love to meet Diru…they’re so adorable! i especially love Die..he just seems so damn adorable! i could just love him and hug him and drool on him! haha! and i love the way Kyo (My other love) writes lyrics….so meaningful… And Tochi…(yes…my other other love) he is like a teddy bear you had as a baby and still at 18 love to death…and Kaoru (you guessed it…) with his super sexy hair and his adorable face that no matter what people say i find so hot!...and Shin-Chan…(...) He’s so lovely and i just love him! hey…i love them all! I almost convinced my mom to let me go see them but she said no at the last minute because it was a 9 hr drive to the closest place they were playing…so sad…i could have kidnapp-errr…talked with them….. i’ll just wait until they come back…

I saw Dir en Grey at the Family Values Tour, and I got to shake hands with all 5 members! __ I also gave them some drawings I made for each of them. I wasn’t allowed to get autographs from them or photos with them, though. ;; But I got to touch each of their hands, so it was worth it. XD And Kyo has a really strong grip. ^^

I met Shinya and Die. My life felt so complete when I did. I think I can happily say I accomplished this, even if I didn’t meet the other 3 members. Meeting just two was simply amazing.
