    I love sci-fi novels  — 1 year ago

I’ve been reading sci-fi for years. Of late, space opera is the stuff I can’t get enough of. So many people disdain sci-fi in film and in books and its just a poverty of imagination. This is a great example of stuff I’ve read recently that I thought was just an off the chain story. The Reality Dysfunction Part I

    Worth doing!

    (in no particular order)
    • Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card
    • The Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler
    • Slow River by Nicola Griffith
    • The Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk
    • The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman

The last one’s more fantasy than sci-fi, but trust me—read it anyway.
