We placed our first geocache on Thanksgiving Day. It was a warm fall day and perfect for caching. December 1st we had a blizzard and the next morning our cache was listed on geocaching.com. Our local cachers are ruthless. We had our first finder by noon. By the time they found the cache they had to unbury it from over a foot of snow and then make tracks all through the woods so other cachers would have a challenge finding it. Placing this cache has taught me a lot and I can’t wait to place more. I can’t wait to hide my first nano-cache. 6 years ago
