I’m left-handed, but I want to learn to be ambidextrous. Think of how it could come in handy if you ever have exams! If your hand’s tired, just switch to writing with the other hand. =D

im left-handed so i want to be able to write with my right hand. i actually kno someone who taught themselves how to be left-handed and when my brother broke his arm he had to write with his left hand. so if i ever brake my left arm i’ll still be able to write.

During the dullest semester-long blow off class ever (introduction to theater in the western tradition), I taught myself to write with my left hand. On a lark, I moved on to learning to do other things with it, like pour things, cut thing, etc – things that are easier on my right hand, for sure.

My advice: take a dull class. That’ll give you 3 hours a week for 16 weeks to learn to write with your other hand. After that, a bit of commitment to fine-tuning, and you’ll be ambidextrous! Good luck!

I’m not ambidextrous, yet… (getting there) but the good news is, I can officially write almost flawless cursive in mirror writing and upside down! Flawless as in it looks like my writing when it’s forwards if you look through the paper from the other side.

I have always been ambidextrous, but was trained as right handed. I can write almost as well with my left hand as my right, however, my left hand has received very little practice with writing. I use my left hand for many common tasks, and leave my right hand to deal with pencils, pens, and scalpels. Also, neither of my eyes is dominant. These traits prove to be rather handy in various situations. Overall, I would say that it is worth the effort to become ambidextrous. Plus, it’s a rather neat talent to show off. :P

I’m currently right handed, I’ve thought about this goal for a while and even as I type this I’ve been using my mouse on the left side for months. I had tried a while back, with practicing writing left handed regularly, but I ended up not keeping up with it. Anyway, after seeing this goal posted I figure why not?

i’d love to be ambidextrous. I have tried to write really basic sentences with my left hand but im obviously really wobbly. When we’re in school I sometimes try it on the board and its so much easier than on paper! Anyways i’m getting on with it and will hopefully get better! In the meantime i’m using the mouse with my left hand!
