ImproperBostonian23 -Leaving for Amsterdam in a few days!!
Does anybody here in New England wanna go to Jordan’s with me and DO THIS??? Open Trapeze is on Sat/Sun and is only like $25… Let’s go!!!
How I did it: The instructors were great - my daughters (9 and 11) to my Dad (60) all participated. It's harder than it looks - but tons of fun. Everyone had a great time, and we'll definitely do it again.
Lessons & tips: The first time is definitely the scariest. Once you've climbed up there once, it gets much easier each time afterward.

Georgina47 wants to change
My friend and I decided we wanted to try this so we signed up for a class at this outdoor trapeze rig downtown. It was two hours and supposedly by the end we would be able to do a catch. But the first time I climbed the ladder it was pretty hard to even jump off of the 25-foot platform (of course you had a harness….). So you’d jump off, hook your knees around the bar, and then release your hands and reach back and the other person grabs your wrists and you let go of your knees…By the end of the class I was ready to try, and I made both catches!! I was very proud of myself because I’m not very athletic. The feeling of flying through the air was amazing. It put a grin on my face for hours!
Wubbzy is starting new adventures!
Go to http://baltimore.trapezeschool.com/ and if you’re in the area—sign up! It was really scary for me, and I even ended up giving up about 3/4 of the way through. I can assure you it’s 100% safe and the staff is very reassuring. If you have a goal of conquering your fear of heights, this is a great start…
