kelseyjorgenson is mourning her shadow kitty
I had a rescue goat who lived with us (illegally) in the middle of the city. She would nap on the couch with my cats and dog and was potty-trained by the time that she went to go live on a farm. She had to go because she kept trying to get out to eat Rhodie and die. Well, dying wasn’t her intention but it is what would happen and almost did. We also had to get her out of the house in order to sell it and get a place where she had room and was legal (i.e. out of city limits) Now she’s a goat instead of my baby, which is sad for me, but it’s okay. I look forward to raising another baby goat someday. They’re freaky cool.
Please Specify: Goat Herder
If my husband and I move to an island and become completely self-sufficient I can finally write “goat herder” under occupation on any forms I fill out. That would be ideal.
When we buy our first house, it will be in an area where we can have at least two goats. We will make cheese and goat’s milk, and I can knit sweaters of their yarn!!!
This is on our island along the Canadian coast, of course. Ah, the cold salt-sea.
kinky goat sex on hot tubs in the winter while other goats watch!
can’t wait!
but now I’ll have to change my goal to “own many goats.”
apart from being handsome, i’ve heard they are quite useful. of course, this probably has much to do with my Mountain Heidi fixation.
Goats are cute and friendly-looking, and I think they would trim the grass in the yard (if I ever get a house with a yard, I will want a goat). I don’t really know anything about goats except I like them. And my dog reminds me of a little goat. Can goats and dogs be friends? Can goats live in the house? I don’t know if I could be happy if my pet goat lived outside.
