be a good storyteller

I am horrible when it comes to telling stories. I get so detailed that either I forget my point or just take forever to get to it. Too many times have I just stopped talking because I know the “listener” is falling asleep, bored out of their mind, trying really hard to stay alive, or giggling because they have no idea where I am going… I just want to get to the point, be witty, and charming.
