I’ve always wanted to do a volunteering vacation. I found one that has three weeks of volunteering at a monkey sanctuary in Thailand. I may just go through with that one.
I’m not sure why I’m already making plans for summer 2010, though.

My whole reason for going to Thailand was to visit the Phi Phi Islands. Such a beautiful part of the world. Dont feel any need to go back because I’ve seen and done everything I wanted to but it was a very enjoyable trip.
I’m going to Thailand in March!
I’m planning on checking out Bangkok and then working my way south to Krabi province. I don’t want to make strict plans though. I’ll be there for a month, and I want to take my time and see things when I want to see them.
I’m also hoping I get a chance to go rock climbing on Railay beach!

I’ve been to Thailand about 20 times (The last time about 2 months ago, and I’ll be going again soon.) I’ve been everywhere from Chaing Mai and Chaing Rai to the southern gulf islands. I’ve trekked in the Golden Triangle and stayed with the hill tribes. I’ve ridden elephants through the jungle. I’ve raffted on the Mekong. I’ve lounged in beach bungalows on Koh Samui. I’ve kayaked and snorkeled in Ang Thong. I’ve debauched in Pat Pong. Avoid Khao San Road and Phuket.
