was offered a scholarship to study there, was scared but did it anyway and it was as the slogan says “amazing india”, soooo very keen to return once i pay my debts off

How to live in India
It made me
fulfilled
 "The most breathtaking and magical experience that I wouldn't trade for anything."
How I did it: I have wanted to travel to India since I saw the movie "A Little Princess" when I was 7 years old. I remember going and buying saris and would insist going everywhere in one. I thought the idea of India was completely entrancing. Then, after I finished school, my parents bought me a ticket over there and I, in the previous year, had saved up for everything else. I went with a volunteer program, with 3 other Australian girls and stayed at an amazing volunteer apartment with Channel Youth, in Udaipur. I stayed there for about 4 months and desperately wish to return to my "Indian family" with the "sisters" that I gained there. Truly amazing, and definitely life changing. I fell in love with India. Lessons & tips: Just do it (nike tick!) haha. Be wild, be free. But don't do it the "tourist" way. Be a local, and immerse yourself. before i can do this, i have and want to make my ma first, so this goal is given up for now. but i once traveled there a month backpacking and really looking forward to stay in some places quite a time. finding a way to work there would be wonderful.
but everything at it’s time…

I originally added this and “being a Fulbright scholar” to my list. Now that I’ve narrowed my career focus, living in India is less important to me.

After I learn Hindi, go to college, and get my nursing degree (3 other goals on here!) I intend to go after this one: living in India, and working as a nurse! I have a few friends from India who love it, and I have fallen in love with what they have exposed me to of their country and culture. This one is a way off, but one of my most exciting ones I think…
