I set a goal of three weeks to get going on my physical training, but I’m skipping ahead and hiring a trainer. I’ve been hesitant in doing this due to past problems with trainers, but I’ve got a good recommendation from a friend. I have specific goals, like gaining upper body strength so I can do a full-minute plank pose and 10 pushups and pullups, that require some real professional help.

So it started raining right before Kris got home. Going to try again today, but Kris’s grandma is in the hospital so we have to go spend the afternoon there. And it is currently raining again. Hopefully I can do something…

Im going on a walk tonight with Kris and my puppy. I have been active today just because Im painting a room and later I am going to clean the house. I just look in the mirror, or down at myself and its just disturbing how much I hate the way I look. The extra baggage has got to go!
Over the years, I have modified my outdoor lifestyle from hiking into the best fishing spots on the river to fishing the spots on the river I can park next to.
I still enjoy getting out there, but I have let myself go physically… especially in the area of hiking. I know that the only way to regain the strength and stamina required for enjoyable hiking is to get off my butt and hike.
My goal is to walk enough to be ready for the tune-up hike I used to make every spring (Hamma Hamma River to Lower Lake Lena in the Olympics).
I have avoided blogging on this one just have I have avoided being more active.
Well one thing I can say I have done… I bought my first pair of Rollerblades two weeks ago. I have gone quite a few times, but then I have had to lay off my right foot as I sprain it walking. I like Rollerblading, so hopefully I will be doing more of this soon.
