How to visit Vancouver
It made me 
"Cool city, more metro than seattle.... we had beautiful weather so i can't complain. I was just glad to be in canada."
How I did it: Greyhound Bus... Decent service between seattle and Van, i would rather have taken the train but its only once a day and is an inconvenient schedule for me.
If you have the opportunity to take the train, its a pretty ride through northwest washington. lots of greenery.

Found the flights I wanted, have the $$$.
Will check with work if they let me take that time off and waiting to hear back from my friends in Vancouver if its still ok to stay with them that weekend…...

Looks like I’m off to Vancouver in June. Will spend a few days in the city with my great friend who lives there and then hop into Vancouver Island to Tofino to go whale watching

I only spent about 3 hours in the city, but enjoyed it immensely. My brother took me to a great Japanese restaurant downtown, called Kingyo. Great atmosphere and great food!

Thanksgiving With The In-Laws

I went out to Vancouver this Thanksgiving weekend with my wife and mother-in-law to visit my two brothers-in-law. I know, I know, it doesn’t sound very promising, but it’s Vancouver, my wife’s favourite place to visit, and we have a lot of friends in the area. We were only there for two and a half days, but in that time we managed to visit some of our friends at their new house, eat out at The Boathouse restaurant (which was good if a little expensive), have a lunch of all-you-can-eat sushi with another friend, visit Granville Island, and manage to fit in Thanksgiving dinner as well. There’s a lot to do in Vancouver and although we didn’t get a ton of stuff in, we enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to going back some time next year. Yeah, it was a little rushed, but we had a good time, and was affordable enough that we might be able to go a little longer next time, and fit in more things.

I have a good friend who lives in the greater Vancouver area. And I know I’ve gotta get there to visit sooner rather than later.
A question I have for myself, is there anyway I can tie this in to my go to Hawaii goal? I can think of a few possibilities…. but let’s make some money first, I guess!
