Hello all! I’ve taken my first step. I’ve quit my job which has been driving me mad for 3 years. No more panic attacks, no more being sick, no more stress (well, less than before anyway!)
I am free to change my future.
Now all I need to do is find that meaningful job which will actually make me happy. Even if it is just a little bit…

For a long time I’ve always rolled into the next interesting thing and always found new jobs easily. Now I’ve moved to berlin and have had to start all over again. New job, new flat, new friends, new hobbies, everything new. And I never before realised the value of my network that I built up in Maastricht (where I used to live). It always brought me new and exiting projects.
Now I just seem to get more and more afraid of life. I’m worried people won’t like me. I feel like I’m boring because I don’t do as much as I used to in maastricht.
I have no direction in life, because I can do a lot of things a little, but I’m not excellent in 1 thing.
HELP.

Fulfilling job

I hope to have a job where the poeple I work with push themselves daily to be better people. A place where they are open, confident, social, creative, supportive, and optimistic. A place where innovation is a daily occurance without fear of implementation or mistakes.

I need to have an occupation. I am a stay at home mom. I am not respected by my husband or myself. I would like to work in a flexible environment and do something gratifying and helpful like teaching or nursing. Ultimately, I would like to help people in foreign countries where they are too impoverished to get these services.

Perseverance, determination, and sheer luck. I feel very fortunate to finally have a position in which I care about what I do and what I do matters to others, too. Not only this, but I am excited to come to work each day and be with my colleagues who are respectful and appreciative. If the job paid more and had better benefits, I’d stay forever. But hopefully this is just job one of many wonderful, fulfilling, life-changing opportunities. Don’t give up—yours is out there! I am a Museum Curator. Wheee!

You know, I think I’m there. It’s not the job I thought would be fulfilling, but after a week I’m thrilled to be working here.
