Go visit my mom

I am definitely going to complete this goal. My intent is to banish apprehension and go see my mom to make her and myself happy! No more excuses to avoid going home!

And I really don’t get to talk to her on the phone that much because she works odd hours. My truck doesn’t run that well so I don’t trust it for a long distance drive. Maybe when I get my credit card paid down I can rent a car.

I think it’s been 4 years since I’ve seen her. Granted we talk on the phone every other day or so, but it’s hard knowing that I really haven’t SEEN her in that long of a time. Between being in Philly for most of that time, and even when I was only 5 hours away in Richmond, it just always seems like such an ordeal to get there.

She doesn’t drive long distances, and flying is inconvenient or else I’d already have put her on a plane here. I guess I just need to take the time off and return to my homeland, but it’s something I wanted to do with the husband instead of going it alone – after almost 3 years together, I’d think they should meet.
