visit roden crater

This article got me thinking about volunteering at the crater.

someone in my dept has an in with the folks around the crater, and hopefully i will be able to include this in my birthday travel circuit. this decade will be a good one.

Okay, I know it’s not completed yet, but I think this would be such a great road trip. Would pair up nicely with seeing Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty.

http://www.rodencrater.org/ is under construction but one of these days the crater will be open to the public and i’m there.
