I already finished my inburgeringcursus for a year now. Last time I sit in the level four. However for the past one year I feel my dutch stuck and my english is getting worst. Therefore I set one more goal in getting myself to talk and write in dutch fluently. Anybody has similar experience on getting their dutch to higher level after some feeling stuck in the same level?

I do know some words and phrases, the phonetics are now very familiar, I watch dutch tv, I read more and try to figure out what it means, and I copied the teach-yourself book…now I am not so scared of the language and think ready to actually start learning
the best thing is just to talk to people and ask them not to answer in english. most dutch are excellent in english and have a tendecy to speak to you in english when they hear you are not from the Netherlands. If you ask for their help most of them are willing to help.
so ask for help and ask them not to speak english and you should learn the language quickly:)
