How I did it: Applied for my visa, came here, worked my butt off to get work and accommodation, tried not to eat too much into my savings.

When I wrote this aim, I hadn't banked on living here though!

Lessons & tips: Well if you're just visiting, do some research and have a good time! If you're going to be living here, obviously be a lot more thorough.

    It’s interesting to read through this posting and see the only negative attitudes toward Toronto come from Canadians. People who visit Toronto from outside of Canada love the city but, Canadians from
    outside Toronto generally don’t like Toronto. Preconceived notions of Toronto. All of Canada hates Toronto.

    I’ve visited Toronto and enjoyed bouldering at Toronto Climbing Academy Indoor Rock Wall Gym which located in Toronto downtown.
    Climbing in gym is good for health so that I was able to go to sleep at that night despite of jet lag.

    If someone knows any good gym in Toronto, please let me know!

    It is a great experience. I stay in a small hotel that is cheap and near Queen Street West and Kensington Market. It is so nice to just chill in Toronto.

    Avoided the usual attractions. Instead I went to see Second City (hilarious! must see!) and the Lord of the Rings broadway show (was awesome!) Ate lunch in the Indian section, had dinner in Greektown, another lunch in Kensington Market…and I can’t wait to go back.

    Toronto was fantastic! Went last year :) Went on all tours possible and went up the CN tower which was really scary for me :S Erm.. went to Church St..that was cool nd the hotel i stayed in had some 3am fire drill.. the fire men were really fit haha. It was really hot when I went (July) but all the shops were air conditioned :) Go – it rocks.

    They also have crazy black squirrels – ive never seen anywhere else that has them!!
