have a beautiful smile

For the past year, I have been saving, trying to change my smile. I have decided on lumineers. I am almost near my goal! It will cost 6 thousand for my top teeth. I then will have to get something called invisalign on the bottom teeth! I am so excited about this! I will post before and after pictures once the procedure is complete!

and they do look better, but ultimately I will need some crowns on the front teeth. I just do not have the $$$ right now though.
On another positive note, my retainer still fits despite not wearing it all the time like I’m supposed to….so my teeth have not shifted :).

I signed up for this dental discount program, which promises to save me several hundred dollars (maybe thousands when I get done with it all). Now I have to make the decision to put the part I pay on credit and pay it off slowly, or use up all of my savings. How depressing.
I truly hate dentists….they are evil scum as far as I am concerned. If I wasn’t vain and scared to death of my teeth rotting out of my head I’d say “screw ‘em!”.

Teeth are so expensive…
For the cost of all the dental work I now need, I could put money down to buy a house…not even exaggerating….

They’re telling me I need to have several older fillings replaced as there’s supposedly new decay beneath them, and that these could turn into root canals once they open them up. I feel like they are trying to just get money out of me, the way everything “could” turn into a root canal. I have no pain at all and I don’t want to dish out $$$$$$ for something that really isn’t that big of an issue.
Funny, cuz 6 months ago, the x-rays I had came back with no issues at all. So in 6 months I suddenly need 4 root canals? Please…

Now I just need some whitening & a crown on one tooth.
I also have a feeling I will need some fillings replaced in front, after whitening, so that the bonding matches.

Aaaand…I need to remember to wear my retainer, so my teeth don’t shift.

I got into a bad car accident in 2003 and it really messed up my teeth. I finally saved up enough and had my surgery the week before christmas! I can smile again!

Argh. I hate these suckers. I can’t wait until they’re gone and I have a wonderful smile.
