Playing in limit poker can be intimidating at first. Take some time to get acclimated to the poker room. Give the “brush” your initials and wait to be called. Watch the tables before playing because the cards tend to move pretty fast if you are not used to it. Most of all have fun!

I went to Vegas with my family last year but didn’t get a chance to bet one dime.

Actually, that’s not true, I asked my family to stand to the side just one moment as I put one dime in a slot, just to say I had – kids aren’t allowed on the gambling floors.

I put the dime in the slot, reached for the slot machine handle and… got tapped on the shoulder by a guy from the casino. My daughters had followed me to the machine… I had to move along. I never got to pull the handle :-(

I want to go to Vegas and experience it as an adult (without kids).

I’ve only ever been down there for work. So this will work out juuuuuust fine. A little texas holdem, and mama gets a new house for some new shoes! Riiiight. Wishful thinking. Either way, I’m all about it.
