I have no doubt, like everyone else, in courage and determination of these brave guys.
They are highly trained and capable of doing everything beyond limits.
But I would like to address to something more important, yet being related.
Look how the humans have advanced in killing each others since the Stone Ages. Those methods of taking out the enemy get more sophisticated and that trend seems unstoppable. Is it possible, that the true meaning of life has been hijacked and turned into “kill another human being?”
Let’s hope it’s not.

My friend from spiritual rock band wrote a song.
Here is a part of lyrics.
“We’re given this world
To love and to share
To find out the meaning of our lives
All nature exists
In giving and peace,
The law of eternal love”
Happy Holidays, everybody!

JP Creighton rising to shine on a rainy cloudy May Sunday;waiting for coffee, here.
...
my challenge is to articulate it. I have this in an heuristic sense.
I will say for now that Life’s Meaning consists in Creation and Destruction, for the purpose of glorifying the Creative Force, whom we have traditionally called God. However, this God is not a male All-Father, although It/He/She encompasses the father-force, the masculine qualities. But the Creator encompasses female qualities, Earth-Mother persona as well. And yes, we are all gods and goddesses, in that there is the Christ in us, the Divine Essence within, the Atman.
The purpose is to expand and multiply, to become more complex yet remain simple in pattern sets, manifesting in a paradoxical way.
Do I pretend that this lettle teaser suffices for an explanation? Not at all; actually my efforts are pathetic and laughable. But being able to laugh at myself is essential to the Seeker, to the Warrior, even to the Scholar.
I will hold ye all in the Light, in yer search toward Meaning and Comprehension. Inshallah.

TOUCHING THE VOID: this film is a great metaphor
for my own inner struggle. It represented the
confrontation with a most fearful and painful
situation… being stuck in an inner crevice where
the bottom seems endless, where suffering seems
unendurable, and death a virtual certainty.
Everything becomes dependent on one focal point:
one’s attitude. Do I go on with life? Make
decisions, even if they might be erroneous? Take
the risk to actually enter the void?
The test comes up every single day in the way we
let our inner core beliefs dictate our actions.
Somehow I know by faith that there is actually no
bottom (like the illusionary snake in the night
which turns out to be a rope in the morning).
My goal is about overcoming fear itself, to
comprehend the meaning of human suffering and the
transistory nature of death itself—to become
fearless.

A young man traveled to Moscow to seek out secrets from a Grand Chessmaster. The first question he asked was, “What is the best move?” The master remained silent for a long time, and replied: “it depends on the unique situation, and now I must conclude this interview.”
Questions must be framed correctly. “What is THE meaning of life?” probably has no absolute answer, it all depends: time, place, situation, person, mood, etc.
Some questions are meant to be asked, and others are really meant to be answered. I would like to ask appropriate questions at the right time, and ACT on the right response as I develop.
This ability to respond is codified in one word: responsibility. Ah, yes, the responsibility to live my life now… is to give meaning to my future: a purpose for which I will strive with all my being. (Subject to change and whims of nature; void where prohibited :-)
