How I did it: I used to not be able to go out unless in full makeup, so this goal was about not being so dependant on it. I just started forcing myself to wear much less, and then I realized that it really wasn't that different, and it felt great feeling good without it! Read how I did it…
KelsoTattoos is so happy.
How I did it: The beauty in life is the flaws. And the same is true with people. Your "flaws make you perfectly imperfect. Make up is how ppl cover their flaws, but its just a stem if insecurity. You have to realize that you are beautiful because of your flaws, so dont try to hide them, embrace them. I wear only a touch of eye liner every day and on occasions, i brush a little foundation undermy eyes. (i have circles undermy eyes. Ive always had them) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I used to think that I "needed" to wear foundation everyday. Fooled by make-up artists at MAC who assured me that my clear skin had "imperfections" and that my skin tone wasn't even enough to confront the daylight without a mask, I wore foundation and blusher nearly everyday. Not only that, but I rarely left the house without eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow. Sometimes, I even added a coat of lipgloss. All of it was very tastefully done, b… Read how I did it…

I actually gave up makeup for lent last year, and that’s a loooong time. It’s definetly a confidence thing, but i’ve managed to cut down from 3 foundations and bronzer to just 2 which is alright i suppose. foundation is just so thick in the summer, i may buy a tinted moisturiser or something and see how that goes. :)
a whole week without foundation! My goal was 5/7 days in a week, but I did all 7 in a row. I used to never be able to go out without it, but after the first day, I looked in the mirror and realized that it actually doesn’t even make a difference on me. It was all about how I felt, and now I feel even better without it! Time to take it out of the makeup bag.
So right now I only wear loose powder, a bit of blush, light brown pencil eyeliner, black mascara and lip balm or gloss. I don’t want to mark this goal as completed yet, because I still think I could cut back.. it’s gonna take me a bit to decide what’s next though.
go five days of the week without foundation. I really don’t need it, I think I just feel more secure with it on. Yesterday was day 1.
bellalicious is staying up wayyyy too late!!
I’m still working at this but realize that when I do wear less makeup I feel somehow MORE confident. It’s like I don’t have to hide behind foundation anymore to feel pretty, I just am whether people agree or not. And truly, there is no greater beauty than natural beauty.
you shouldn’t feel like you need to wear makeup to be attractive. everyone is beautiful in their own way, and i think once you go a while without wearing makeup it even makes you feel better about yourself. i stopped wearing makeup second semester of my last school year, and all i have worn since then is occasional eyeliner whenever i’m going out to eat or to the movies.
I don’t wear a heap of makeup everyday…just foundation, mascara, blush and lipbalm. But I really want to cut out the foundation, because my skin was so clear before I started using it regularly. I feel a bit insecure without it, which is something I just need to get over because I know I look fine without it. I might try mineral makeup and see what that is like. I also like the idea of cutting 5 minutes out of the process of getting ready. Let’s see how it goes.
today i put on some mineral powder bronzer and a little gloss.
feels good to have a more natural face,;p
I just want to not wear eyeliner.
Bahh.
I wear concealer, mascara, and eyeliner.
I wear a ton of eyeliner, and it just sucks.
I would love to rub my eyes and not worry about
my eyeliner smudging.
My face is just red all the time.
I see it and am like wow I need to put on some powder.
I used to be able to just wearing bronzer with tinted mosterizer mix, but now my skin is just so red it doesn’t help.
then…my eyes just are not the same without mascara.
I guess the goal isn’t don’t wear any makeup. I don’t really wear eyeshadows anymore.
