eat at a Tapas restaurant

I live a block from a great Tapas bar in Brighton, and it took me 3 years to get there, but Katy and I ate there this evening and it was great.

We got:
Filet Mignon
Calamari
Lamb in a rosemary and thyme sauce that was stew-like
Short ribs with veggies that were also stew-like
Duck, lamb, chicken, chorizo and veggies
Potoatoes in a cream sauce

Ice cream crepe that was awesome.

Liked most of the items, and had fun sharing and trying different things. Will definitely go again.

I’ve ever had were in Sydney, Australia. There’s a whole bunch of Spanish restaurants in a couple of block radius near the central part of town. Authentic, delicious and cheap. I had a big pitcher of sangria by myself and incredible sausage cooked in apple juice.

Also had good tapas in Amsterdam and Pasadena…

I was planning to kill two goals with one night, but instead of tapas and Little Miss Sunshine we went a a mexican place and saw The Illusionist instead, so I guess we’ll have to have another date soon.

My lady has been out of town for the week, so to celebrate her return we’re going on a date of my choosing. Since I lvoe the feeling of crossing off goals as well as trying new foods, I’m taking her to a tapas restaurant in walking distance called Tasca that has very fine (read pricey) reviews. Any recommendations on what to order at a tapas restaurant?
