Hooray! Okay, it’s a little larger than I’d originally intended but since it’s for hiking and wearing it over several other layers…that’s actually just fine. Yay!
How to finish knitting my first sweater

How I did it: I kept a notebook and retained my notes, measurements, how I figured out how many stitches and rows, etc. It helped when I came back later to pick up the work and finish the sweater.
Lessons & tips: It just takes time, so stick with it.

and looking online at what other people are doing has encouraged me to pick up the needles and keep at it – and take photos, and track my progress. I guess I just needed a little encouragement to get back into it…and some free time, ha!
