learn how to use Windows Movie Maker

...very cute and I’m quite proud of it, even though it was so quick and easy to create.

I’ve got another program now which I think is called Video Studio which I’ll start using as it will be compatible with the new video camera. It’s possibly better than Windows Movie Maker anyway.

I just had a fiddle around with a couple of old clips I took of the boys using our digital photo camera. It’s sooo eaaasy!

Today we bought a super flashy digital video camera (Xmas present from the inlaws) and ultimately I’d like to make clips using this. However, because it’s only just on the market, there aren’t any software progams to easily convert the footage to computer files…so may have to wait with that. In the meantime I’ll just practice using the photo camera.

I just wanted to figure out 1) how to shrink the file size without them looking like crap and 2) to add text, which was pretty easy. Grandpa and Grandma are leaving town for the summer and I wanted to have a way to send them little videos.

They’re pretty rough, but the program worked. Now if I can just take some better clips…
