Find a church to call home

i really like the Methodist church i’ve been attending while at school (even though i haven’t been going on a regular basis) and i hope to find another methodist church at home to attend over the summer :)

i started “church hopping”... today i went to a worship service at a methodist church near my school and a service at the first christian church, next sunday that i stay i plan on going to the early service at the presbyterian church and the sunday school at the methodist church…. i’m really excited i enjoyed the methodist service more than the first christian

i’ve attended the same church for 4 years and love the pastor and family however i don’t always feel what he preaches is true and sometimes i think he contradicts himself… i haven’t been able to actual go to my church for a couple months and now that i’m at college i’m intrested in finding a church i can feel completly comfortable in.

I it’s not in the Bible, it’s not advocated. A very diverse congregation, with young and old and everything in between.

I generally find it hard to find a church I feel at home at. A lot of my friends have the same problem. A lot of them just stopped going. I thought that sucked, so I started a new one. We’ve been meeting as a Bible study where we try to know what it means to follow Jesus and become better people. We’re on our way to becoming a real church. We’re working on finding a space to meet in or a building to call our own. Right now we’re working on raising money to do that. If you’re interested, email me at appleshed@gmail.com.
