How to get to work on time
How I did it: I got off the computer sooner and gave myself a little more time than necessary to get ready for work. I gave myself a set time to leave for work adding about 5-10 minutes to allow for traffic, weather and slow drivers!
So far, so good ... not perfect , but acceptable.
Lessons & tips: Employers really look at your performance which includes getting to work on time and being dependable.
In addition, I felt less stress while driving and I walked into work in a better mood.

Just so that you can understand it fully… I drive to the train in the morning and take the train to work. It takes me about 10 mins to get to the train station and about 15 mins from start station to end station, and then a 5 min walk. So in all.. it should take me about 30 mins to get to work, from start to finish.
And, if I have have to get to work at 8:30, then I need to leave my house at least by 8:00, but to give myself extra time I should leave at 7:50.
I’m really going to try to do better next week.

Haha! Oh good grief! Will I ever be able to do this!?? I guess I haven’t really been focusing on this one too much though honestly. I am preoccupied with other crap that I probably shouldn’t even be thinking about. I need to throw my laptop in the trash so I don’t stay up with it all night. I have started to use my desk top actually and I think that’s a step in the right direction.

Two days into my goal and I’ve been late both days. (I’m due in at 9 a.m.) On Monday I got in at 10 a.m. (not that bad) but today it was 10:45. I suck at this!! I’ve been going to bed earlier (in bed at 11:30) but sometimes I have trouble falling alseep and then I’m totally wiped out the next morning.
Any motivating tips for getting moving in the mornings??

Thus far, the past two workdays, I’ve made it in on time. Just have to keep up the good work.
I’m CONSTANTLY late for work. So far I haven’t gotten into any troube, but I am starting to feel a little guilty for my cronic lateness.
I am 100% not a morning person, but it’s been getting really out of hand over the last six months. I need to feel more motivated in the morning to wake up and get going. I know this starts with going to bed earlier but some days I just dread waking up and I just physically can’t. Sign…this will be a tough one to do.
