I’d like to do a exchange program in Canada to improve my english next year, Is there someone that could give me some tips about good english school, and good place to stay and beaultiful places to visit?
thanks!!
How I did it: Started from New York City and drove around Lake Eerie. Saw Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal.
The highlights of the trip were Niagra Falls and going to the Expos game at Olympic Park. Niagra is an impressive sight. The Expos' stadium was bizarre - the strangest stadium I've seen. I liked Montreal because of the unique culture. Toronto is a nice city but it looks a lot like any other big US city.

Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency hasn't had time to be on 43T. Been busy with life.
I’ve been to Canada once to see my step grandmother. She left my grandfather. He’s now dead. Well, it wasn’t because she left him, but just stating he’s not alive anymore.
currently planning a camping trip in September to thunder bay ontario. i am so looking foward to the trip- i am planning to just take in the scenery and relax, i’d like to visit the falls and amethyst mines up there. just about 9 weeks and counting!
my best friend lives in vancouver she moved there about 20 years ago we’ve always kept in touch and shes been over to visit me a couple of times. Shes pregnant now and i would love to go over and spend some time with her next year
I’ve been there a few dozen times, and I’ve always loved it there (we live maybe an hour from the border). Of course, I love it where I live now too, plenty of fresh air and room for animals and kiddies to play.
I’m just too busy with life at work and I should start looking at getting my feet back on the right track.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, close to the Canadian border, so I’ve been there many times and it was always a positive experience. I know it’s a stereotype, but those Canadians really are nice. :) We got Canadian TV channels at home, so I heard about Quebec and the RCMP and it all sounded so romantic. I finally got the chance to go to Quebec and Prince Edward Island a few years ago and it was wonderful. I would love to go back and even live there for a couple of years.
...since I live in Vermont. Canada doesn’t seem like another country to me since I go there so often. Montreal’s the college kid’s place to party and for a while there we’d go over to shop and take advantage of the exchange rate (not anymore!). Beautiful country and full of a variety of different cultures and landscapes. I’m most familiar with Quebec, but I’ve been through the Rockies too. Amazing! Definitely a great place to visit. I think overall they’re more tolerant of different kinds of people. Everything just seems more relaxed.
