I want to do this and I don’t think it would be that labour intensive – I always have a camera with me and I walk/bus everywhere.
Frankly, there isn’t an overabundance of great style in Edmonton, but I think that’s all the more reason to celebrate those who have a unique look. So what’s stopping me? Weeeell, I guess I’m kind of shy about approaching total strangers and asking to take their photos – all the more because my outfits are pretty standard most of the time. This Slate article makes me want to start (or help start) a similar street fashion blog in Seattle. I think it would be fun, and Seattle’s fashion is so sort of half-assed and silly that it would be an interesting contrast to other more stylish cities. Anyone want to consider helping? 7 years ago
