Hmm. I either trust too easily and get hurt or then trust not at all and hurt the other person.

I have been a very trusting person all of my life, and i have also been very badly burned many times.
I do not wish to be closed to close trusting relationships, however, i now sprinkle my trust with a good dose of hindsight and a generous sprinkling of caution, much less easy to be burned that way ;-)
