have bought the book, now to read it
How to read Gone with the wind
It made me
bland 
"WOW, good book. LONG read!"
How I did it: It took a LOT to read this book. There was a LOT of description in it so eventually I admitedly had to skim. The movie definitely took a lot out though. 3 kids for instance were gone. Although I was able to see that they loved each other and were simply bull-headed in the movie, it was DEFINITELY more clear in the book. Good book, but a LONG read.

I have made it to chapter 3! It’s pretty good so far. Very detailed. It’s a pretty intimidating-sized book, but I really want to finish it. I seem to never finish any book I start so I hope I can make it through this one.

i finally took the first step and went to the library to pick up a copy. i am going on a week-long vacation to the middle of nowhere so maybe i’ll find some time to read.
