I need to get up of my backside and do some exercise. I used to be super fit, but I’ve let myself go over the past few years. I need to start doing some running and an hour or so weight training every other day. I also need to get all the crap out my diet….soft drinks, etc.

I’m always in half hearted pursuit of this goal, so I’m going to put it on here to hopefully inspire me to throw the other half of my heart in there.
Health for me is so holistic, and while at times this might just seem like a list of things to do, it’s keeping me honest and on top of my work, which I think is a big part of feeling healthy and one of the parts I’m not the best at.:)
It’s 10:30 in the morning, a beautiful day outside, and here is what I plan to do to be healthy:
- Food: I’ve eaten some organic heirloom chex and a banana. I should pack lunch for work so I don’t buy something like cake. (it’s happened more often then I would like to admit) If my greens are still good, I’ll make a salad. If not, maybe some broccoli and quinoa. Dinner? Well, after last nights pizza and donuts, I can only go up… maybe a veggie burger?
*also I want to drink more water today. I’m very bad about drinking enough water. I don’t drink soda or lots of juice (only 100% fruit juices for me), I just forget to drink. I think I get thirst and hunger confused. Hopefully I can find my water bottle.

-Call my professor. I’ve been avoiding this like the plague because I have to admit that I didn’t do any of the work I was supposed to. I feel like I have a valid reason, I just don’t want to disappoint her or make our relationship bad. This is more of a mental healthiness. I’m trying not to be avoident.
-Do little things from your list of things to do: *Return library books. *Ship off that Physics book. *Figure out what classes I’m going to sign up for. *e-mail my doctor.
(I can do all but the mailing of the book from work)
-Excersise: I’m going to go swimming for an hour before work. I got a new bathing suit and now I wanna look really good in it :)
-Start packing/unpacking. I need to take at least one box today and decide what is staying with me here in Berkeley and what’s going down to so-cal.
I have started taking my vitamins, I am trying to eat more fruits and vegetables, and I want to exercise more
