get organised and stay organised

Having returned from overseas trip, i had a lot to do. Now that i have got a job and the hosue is all clean and tidy and I am working often in my garden and achieving my goals I feel this is going pretty well. Tehre are still some jobs i am procrastinating about but I will get on to them. At least they are there rfeminding me every day that i have to do them. 19 months ago

I am pleased that I wrote these three letters today. I’ve been procrastinating lately about a lot of small jobs as well as the bigger jobs so it was good to feel the inclination. I’ve still got more letters to write but they are a little harder to organise. 21 months ago

Its probably not a good goal on its own but who knows…

I’ve just got home from overseas and as usual I am starting all over again. The first thing to do is a big clean out. I’ve begun that.

the second thing to do is get a job. I’ve made a start on that. This time I really do have to get work but someone gave me a tip which might enable me to work for myself.

The thing i’ve learnt is, I have to become a doer not a timewaster on teh computer. I am of course mucking about on teh computer but I am getting up often to do stuff.

It would be great if i could start a job and finish it in one go but I am not that sort of person so I just begin and try to do a little bit often until its all done. I”ve got three weeks, or maybe only two before dad comes homes. So its good to get as much done before he gets back and starts making a mess again or just getting in the way. Then my sister gets back and she is a control freak so i must make way for her. 21 months ago

Almost everything has fallen into place and I’ve done most of the things I needed to do to prepare for this trip. There are a few last minute anxieties but some have been totally resolve so I am very happy with the way things have been going. 2 years ago

I’ve changed my ticket so that i can stay away for longer.

I’ve begun fixing my panniers. I need to buy a bolt

I’ve started paying off my debt to my sister and can finish that before I go away.

I’ve put things on process to get money back on car registration. I still have to try to sell my car.

I still have to join up wiht a certain website. this is hte biggest important task that i must do now.

I’ve still got to put in my tax return. that’s another fairly important task. 2 years ago

I’ve found someone who can help look after my cat when I am away. This is a major weight off my mind. A major problem solved. 2 years ago

um that’s all I cna think of so far. Yesterday was the day I determiend that I would start getting into gear and get ready. So that means less faffing about on the computer and more activity. 2 years ago

Ok I am not moving up there just yet. Its not urgent or hot enough.

Second, the mail account didn’t do what I hoped it would do.

But i have done a couple of good things lately. Small but important things in preparation for my trip.

1. I’ve got my blood test done for my rabies shot.
2. I’ve got advice from the tax office about how to manage a particular important issue. and it was to my satisfaction so I am chuffed about that.
3. I’ve settled on my dates for travelling and now only have to book some tickets at the end of September

Things to do.
1. get some money from super account to pay for my ticket extension
2. I should try to do my tax.
3. i have a long list of other chores.
4. Try to sort out my work flow and file storage problems before i go away without spending more money on it. With this in mind, I did ask the libraryto order a book for me so i don’t have to buyit yet. 2 years ago

Today I got my email account set up. I’ve been wanting this for a long time so that i can send pictures. It doesn’t work on yahoo.

Progress is being made with photoshop and learning my camera as well.

The family are due to leave and I am going to move up to their place where I can set up better, i hope. I will have to try to keep it tidy and organised. And I will have to pack it all away agin before my next trip in NOvember. 2 years ago
