I’ve actually done it! But still need another pair so will keep this on the list until I have more than one pair of jeans that fit.
How I did it: I just took the time to shop around and research. Online reviews are great resources. NY and Co has great choice at good prices. I also find that places with varirty like Ross and Marshalls are good places for jean hunting. I can still only find one or two pair after trying on 10, but that's okay - :)

This is the most frustrating thing to try to do, I’ve tried persevering in lots of different shops trying on copious amounts of jeans but I’m completely between a size 12 and 14 (UK) so found some sites that do jeans by waist size in inches and doesn’t miss out any i.e. 29, 30, 31 and 32 etc are all available. BUT, when measuring your waist you’re meant to do it at the smallest point, on me this is 29 inches, which apparently relates to a dress size between 10 and 12, which I am definitely not and jeans don’t sit there anyway!! So, what jean size (on previously mentioned websites) should I be looking at????
Does any one know were to find jeans to fit a 45 inch gut each shop i go to all the jeans are size 38 or less i cant even squezze into them im just to fat
If you want grat jeans go Canyon River Jeans. They seem a little cheap but are just as great as good Lee’s. They seem to shrink just a liiiiitttle bit when you wash them but they still fit fine!!!! I love them!

Well, said with more than a pinch of sarcasm, but still.
These new jeans fit me well – which is a lot to say. I’m curvy and, well, bootylicious (ha!) so it’s always been a struggle to find anything that fits all of th relevant areas at the same time.
I also had to realize that the fabric touching my thighs does not mean that the jeans do not fit. Just because I am incredibly self-conscious about them doesn’t mean that others are staring, pointing, and snickering. (At least not usually)
So really it took a lot of trying on, a tailor, and a change of attitude. Now I need to get them in another color.

Took them to the tailor to be hemmed. Can’t even believe I typed that, much less did it.

Found some that fit well in the areas of concern and pretty well in the waist – but they are longish.
If I get them hemmed, this goal can be done.
Don’t want to look like I’m standing in a bucket.
I’ve scoured the web for the perfect jean. The custom route seems scary to me as I’d rather just do it myself. It’s just too bad that “curvy” girl styles out there always look dowdy. Is it so wrong to want to feel like a rocker sometimes?
