Yet another new medical bill in the mail today. FML. 13 months ago

I am six days past due and I have zero money I can give to the hospital at this point, because, well I have zero dollars. I am still looking for work. I did my taxes the other day so I should get my refund soon and that will definitely help with the bills. So just a few more days until I can pay. 14 months ago

I have just over $400 left on my last medical bill. Yay! Should have it paid off in 5-6 months, since I can only do the minimum payments right now. 16 months ago

I’ve been paying just under $200/mo on my medical bills. In less then 5 months I’ll have them paid off, and that means quite a bit more money I can use. Because money is super tight for me now it really helped to work out a payment plan for each bill. Medical bills suck, no doubt, but usually they are able to work with you to make a low monthly payment and it’s usually interest free.

I’m planning what I’ll do with the extra money after I pay off all my medical bills…putting it towards buying a car outright. 22 months ago
